I'll travel to India from 27 dec to 7 jan 2006.
I arrived in Mumbay , some suggestion for a budget hotel (safe and clean) ?
I'll go to Pune , to the Osho ashram for tree-four days.
After I'll go to Goa , some suggestion for accomodation and travelling?

I'm looking for any kind of travel suggestion (It will be my secon travel in India, first I went to Delhi e Varanasi)

Hi Marika and welcome to Indiamike.

I can only help you with the train info for Pune to Goa.

Train 2780 departs Pune Daily at 16:45 and gets to Madgaon at 06:03 the following morning.

2-tier air con = Rs 1069
3-tier air con = Rs 699
Sleeper Class = Rs 268 (not air con)

You MUST book the train ticket as soon as bookings open (60 days before date of departure of train) as you will be traveling over the holiday period and trains get booked up fast.

You can have the tickets sent to your address in Pune.

Another train option is the following train that only runs on Saturdays.

Train 1097 departs Pune on Saturdays at 23:10 and gets to Madgaon at 13:05.

This train has 2 things going for it, you will pass the Londa - Madgaon section during the daytime, this is a very scenic part of the journey and one of the most scenic trips in India, secondly, the train will be departing Pune on New Years Eve, so may not be as busy as trains in the few days before NYE.

Train 2779 departs Madgaon daily at 14:30 and gets to Pune at 04:00 the next morning.

Train 1098 departs Madgaon on Tuesdays at 15:20 and gets to Pune at 05:00 the next morning.
