You need to be sure of what you want when you talk to a travel agent, I went to reply to one of your posts but needed a little more info, so I checked your other posts, you were either completely unsure of what you wanted and kept changing your mind, or you were too impatient to wait for a reply, either way, not the kind of posts I wanted to reply to.

Yes, we can tell you.

But only if, first, you tell us how long is our piece of string.

Hi Ash Wendy ,Going by my quick scan of your previous posts ,It's only a 10 day visit ?? First advise give yourself more time !!
2nd bit of advise ,and it seems you are interested ,book a flight to Delhi ,stay in Paharganj (Excuse spelling ,it is late at night here)You should be able to arrange a hotel with airport pick up from this site ,and take it from there .You will either like or dislike ,Your call .Have fun
p.s and you will very probably get by !!!!
Quick edit after seeing your latest post $ 200/350 a day Thats me out and i must go to bed .Good night and may your gods go with you ;-)

Trip to Undia

Good Day ash,

your itinerary looks OK.Are you talking $US dollars in rgds to accom,if so that will get you pretty good accom.Unless you know how to book trains through int"net most hotels will help with
this. Are you catching trains for first parts of
your travels,vadodara,bohpal,etc,or is it train
travel from Jaipur back to Mumbai,in which case you
may need to go Jaipur - Delhi - Mumbai, not completely sure, maybe other member can clarify.

My advice: book a hotel online for your first couple of nights. At that price, you can get something very nice, and many of the big international chains have hotels in Mumbai. You could also book your first train ticket online, instructions are all over this site. When you arrive in Munbai, give the travel desk your itinerary, and they will have it sorted by the end of the day. Remember, you are in India, and your route is pretty intense for the time allotted. There are literally millions of travel agents in India, so best bet is to use the one at the 5 start hotel at which you will be staying.

I'll give you some travel info so that you have an idea of your options.

Mumbai-Vadodara

Air Deccan fly Mumbai 17:55, Vadodara 19:20.

There are loads of train options, the journey takes about 6 hours and can be done overnight if need be, though there are also a couple of trains that depart late in the afternoon and get to Vadodara late at night.

There is just no way you can do this, you have to re-think this part of your Itinerary.

Vadodara-Bhopal

Jet Airways can fly you from Vadodara (11:45) to Bhopal (18:35), but that leaves no time to see Bhopal before departing that evening.

You could get a train late on the 26th.

Train 1463 departs Vadodara at 21:15 and gets to Bhopal at 08:30 (the train has 2-tier air con, 3-tier air con, Sleeper Class (not air con))

Bhopal-Agra

There are no flights from Bhopal to Agra (or anywhere to Agra), and a flight to Delhi wouldn't help or get you to Agra any quicker than the train.

Train 2155 departs Bhopal on the 27th at 21:22 and gets to Agra Cant station at 04:37, this train still has availability in all classes. (the train has Air Con First Class, 2-tier air con, 3-tier air con, Sleeper Class (not air con))

There is a better timed train, but all the tickets are already sold out.

Agra-Jaipur

There are trains, but you'd be best to hira a taxi for the day to show you around Agra, then take you to Jaipur.

Quote:
then go back to mumbai till 11/2 1am when we fly back to the states
Jaipur-Mumbai

Late flights on 30th October

Jaipur 21:00 Mumbai 22:30 (Go Air)
Jaipur 20:15 Mumbai 21:50 (Jet Air)
Jaipur 17:15 Mumbai 18:55 (IndiGo Air)

Early flights on 31st October

Jaipur 07:35 Mumbai 09:10 (Indian Airlines)
Jaipur 08:25 Mumbai 10:00 (Jet Airlines)
Jaipur 09:30 Mumbai 11:00 (Spice Jet)

Train 2956 departs Jaipur on the 30th October at 14:10 and gets to Mumbai Central at 07:45, the train still has availability in Air Con First Class, 2-tier air con and 3-tier air con.
