Travel Advice to North India?

Hi, I'm new here and am deciding to travel to India between 7/1 - 7/15 (I know, super hot, but only time free ya know). I was looking at some tour companies to join, since it's a little easier.

I'm curious of what folks think of this itinerary

(Delhi-Jaipur-Agra-Gawalior-Orchha-Khajuraho-Varanasi-Kathmandu-Delhi)

Just as importantly, I received the quote from an "Informative Travels" (http://indiatraveltours.com/). Anybody gone with them or have any reviews?

Hi and welcome to IM!

I personally think that for 14 day visit the itinerary is overbooked. I would only go to 4 or 5 spots and spent time observing, and experiencing the culture. The itinerary you are desiring is doable but will not give you enough time to explore and absorb each location. You will have little or no recollection of the area you visited and possibly feel you overhauled yourself with the itinerary.

One advise I give to anyone who goes to India is make sure you go with your arms and mind open.
Do keep us updated on your travel and experience.

I think it can be done in 14 days as the travel time between the cities will not be much.

Del / Jai - 05 hrs
Jai / Agra - 05 hrs
Agra / gwalior - 03 hrs
Gwalior / Orchha - 03 hrs
Orchha / Khajuraho - 4.5 hrs

I would suggest Delhi- 2 nights, Jaipur - 2, Agra - 1, Gwalior - 1, Orchha - 1, Khajuraho - 2, Varanasi - 2, Kathmandu - 03 nights.
