Hello everyone, today I've been through three travel agencies in Kolkata for planning out trip to Bhutan. I'm giving the quotation give by Link India Tours & Travels.

Kolkata to New Alipurduar and from there to Phuntsholing

Phuntsholing - 1 night

Thimpu - 3 nights

Paro - 1 night

Phuntsholing - 1 night and back to New Alipurduar next day.

Accomodation : Rs. 14,000/-
Car (Tavera/Qualis): Rs. 2500/day.

Now, please suggest if we can save some money coz this is really getting expensive for college students. We've to pay Rs.17,500/- for car and we are only four. They told us that we cannot find a car for less than that. But I read in an article here that car can be booked for Rs.1000 + petrol/diesel. It will be really helpful if we can save money on Hotels and Car. We don't need Tavera/Qualis for 4, Indigo would do. But the travel agent said that there is no Indigo / Santro. We really need perfect information as we are leaving on 24th June. Please Please Please, suggest me.

P.S., He also told us that there is no TAXI or we cannot hire a car from there. Is this information true ? If we can hire a car from there or from New Alipurduar / Coochbehar, can we enter Bhutan without problem ?
