Tour Sept.-Oct North India. Weather?

I am going on an Intrepid tour called "Unforgettable India". I traveled with Intrpeid last September to Morocco and they were great. It's from Sept 24th-October 9th. How should the weather be???

Here's the intinerary:

Days 1-2: Delhi
Day 3: Agra
Days 4-5: Chanderi
Days 6-7: Orchha
Day 8: Khajuraho
Day 9: Panna National Park
Day 10: Chitrakoot
Day 11: Allahabad
Days 12-14: Varanasi
Day 15: Delhi

It is a good planned itinerary, the weather in the said months are great, very extremely comfortable to give you a feel of unforgettable India. Wish you a happy trip and great holiday.

Hey thanks, I was worried about the weather. I know many posts slam some of the cities like Agra and Varanasi, but I feel that they have to be seen @ least once.

I did a similar trip with Intrepid (Delhi - Kathmandu) at the beginning of this year. It went to many of the same places you mention on your itinerary here. What a great experience it was. I know a lot of people shy away from these organised trips, but Intrepid do them really well, I have to say, and you get to be involved in piles of stuff that you would never have had the opportunity to do otherwise. As the previous poster remarked, Agra and Varanasi have to be seen at least once. You'll never have seen anything like them. really. Orchha is just fabulous.

I guess I just wanted to say you'll have a great time on this trip, and I really envy you! Enjoy!

I went on this exact same trip but last Dec-Jan. You'll have an amazing time, and the weather should be perfect. It was a bit cold when I went but it'll be fine when you go. I especially liked Chanderi where you'll meet a guide named Kalibai; and Allahabad. Really there was something interesting in all the places... Ditto on the way Intrepid organizes the trips!

I am really glad to hear that. I've been on plently of "luxury tours", but intrepid/GAP adventures really gives you a real feel for country, in my opinion.

omg you live in Miami and you are worried about the weather!
the areas you listed will have perfect weather while you are there, less hot and humid then where you are.

If you miss these cities, you might have to repent later on, so enjoy whatever comes your way. I hope that you will like the cities.

Living in Miami is what makes me worried about the weather! I have been longing to visit India ever since I was 16 and learned about Indian culture in a world religions course, and I would hate to have bad weather ruin that.
I depsise Miami summers. 110% humidity and raining every day.
