Things to do in Ladakh in August

Hi All,

First off, this website is great! There is so much information here. The down side is it's hard to sift through it all.

My wife and I are planning a 2 week vacation to India at the beginning of August. We only have 2 weeks but would like to see as much as possible.

We are going to dedicated 6 days to the golden triangle route. Plenty of information on this.

The other 6 days, we would like to spend in the north seeing the Himalayas. We plan to fly into Leh from Delhi. Are there recommendations for the "must-see's" during those 6 days. Since we have limited time, we want to make sure we spend our time wisely.

Have you tried the Ladakh sub-forum?

You can also scroll to the bottom of this page, where you'll find a listing of "similar threads." Opening any of those will again feature a list of similar threads at bottom, and so on and so forth. It's an easy way to navigate the site.
