Thekkday or Varkala or cherai or Athirampally falls
Hi All ,
I am planning to go kerala in end of Nov for 7 Nights and 8 days. I will be travelling by air to and from cochin. Flights have been booked already. I am planning to stay like this 3 Nights Munnar (Including arrival date) 1 Night Allepy(House boat) 2 Nights Kovalam Now i am confused abt 1 Night. Please suggest the place : Thekkday or Varkala or cherai or Athirampally falls ? I have heard that there is no so much wild life in thekkday. Please suggest. |

It depends what are you looking for. theplaces you have choosed are not my favourites in Kerala but if you are already going to Kovalam no need to stay in Varkala. Thekadi is not that great but wild life is somewhere in the Park, go to Thekkadi just to do the panoramic road from Thekkadi to Munnar.

All the places you mentionned like the falls, Varkala or Thekadi are great but in general your itinerary shouldn't be my first choice. If I must give a list of favorites in Kerala, from south to north should be something like that: Varkala - Paravur - Kollam/Thangaserri - Backwaters at Munrothurutu - Around Kottayam - Panoramic road between Thekkadi and Munnar - Fort Kochi/Mattancherri - Vypen island/Azhicode/Kodundallur - Fort Bekal/Pallikere Jorge |
