| Suggestions to complete Itinerary MUCH needed! Hello all! First off, I just want to say how much I absolutely love this website. My girlfriend and I have just discovered it, and it looks like it's going to be one of our most useful tools. We are leaving on March 16th for a 1 month travel through India. Here is our itinerary as of yet... March 17th - 22nd in Delhi March 22nd - 24th in Agra March 24th - 29th in Varanasi March 29th - April 1st in Bodhgaya April 1st - ?? in Calcutta. (we're not sure how much time we're going to spend here. We may be meeting a friend's family, and if we are, it will be longer. If we're not able to, we'll make it a little shorter... How long in Calcutta do you recommend? From Calcutta, we're making our way south to Puri for a few days. Here is where we get lost... We'd like to make our way to the Ajanta and Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, then make our way back to Delhi where we fly to Amsterdam. We leave India on April 14th at around midnight... So, we'd like to be back in Delhi for the 13th at least. Any suggestions for Calcutta, travels from Puri to Maharashtra, etc... ? |
