Southern India in September...too wet?
Hello. I've got 2 weeks' holiday in the middle of September. Will Kerala and surrounding area be too wet to enjoy ourselves? We'd like a couple of days lounging on a beach if possible but most of the time would be sightseeing and exploring monuments and landscape. Any advice would be very welcome as we are India novices...Thanks

Kerala will be in monsoon season until late September or early October. So not the best time for the beach. But it has been a rather dry monsoon this year in the south. You may be lucky.
Tamil Nadu will probably be drier. It is mostly affected by the north-east monsoon October to December.
