South Indian travel advice

I am in Cochin and plan to go to Munnar for a few days then want to make my way to the Coorg area.

I thought I would come back to Cochin and either take the bus from Cochin to Mysore and then get to Madikeri and then up to Honey Valley. OR take train to Kannur and then bus it up to Madikeri.....any advice?

Then I need to get to Goa for a training Nov 8th. The training is in Assago near Mapusa. I am not sure the best route to take here. a) Mysore to Bangalore via train then fly into Goa Or train it the whole way- from where??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi lillie, Maybe the Kannur train option and bus to Madekeri
sounds shorter time wise.

From Madekeri maybe bus to Mangalore,and then train to Goa.

town,Clean & cheap.

IF you go to Mysore you could go to Hampi before going on to Goa. Mysore - Hampi can be done in a long day by road or by train via Bangalore (takes longer). Hampi - Goa is a nice daytime train ride.

Or you coul go ia belur and Halebid. Bit longer, but a nice stop on the way.
