Hi .....
Hi,
Lucky you might not get too lucky here .... The sainj valley area is a protected area under the GReat Himalayan Nation Park ... My thoughts 1500/- is too little .... get your own equipment (Tents, Sleeping Bags, Stoves) and manage ... however be sure to be friendly ... I would recommend going up to Gushaini in Tirthan making that a base and then exploring from there ..... still 1500/- not passable ... for the best Itinerary advice visit .... greathimalayannationalpark.com or ghnp.com ..... cheers |

how much is enough
Hi Dhananjay
Thanks for your reply. But I would insist on asking some places where we can lodge ourselves. Eating places? Contact persons ? And what budget you feel would be appropriate per family per day? Lucky |

sainj valley
Hi Dhananjay and Andreas
Thanks for your help. I've fixed up the programme with one NGO called "SAHARA". Day 1 Sairopa day2 Rolla day3 Rolla day4 Rolla to sleet day5 Sleet to sairopa. Accomodation in 4 men tents. Food, sleeping bags, porter, guide provided. 500 Rs per day per person. your opinions please. If I'm missing out on anyplace or thing please point out. Can you get me Raju's phone number? We can slash a day from Rolla and may be stay at Gushaini. How much would be a room for family? Any wild guess will do. And Andreas, I'll say your hello to Raju in case we meet him. thanks once again. Lucky |
