Round trip 3 weeks Delhi-Varanasi-Rajasthan

Hi,

This is my first post on this forum, although the information I found here was very useful for planning our trip. I have been a regular visitor since my interests in a visit to India.

Me and my girlfriend are planning to make a three week round trip in India from the second week of November. This is our first visit to India (with hopefully more to come!). Because we haven't seen anything of India ourselves, we are a bit unsure of some decisions we have to make in terms of travel and destinations. I hope some you IM-ers could have a look at our itinerary and make some comments where needed. So far, we only booked our Amsterdam-Delhi flight. The rest of the travel is not sure yet, but we have to make reservations for the rest of the trip (train/plane) soon.

This is our plan:

Fly from Delhi to Varanasi in the morning.
Visit Varanasi

Varanasi - Gaya by train:
