Does anyone know if the road to leh would be open in january february ..And if thermal underwear and warm pants are procurable in Manali...

Also can one ride on to lahaul and spiti during the same time or will roads be blocked due to snowfall..

Road to Leh will be closed in Jan-Feb. Because the Rohtang, Baralacha la and Zoji la passes are snow-bound. That rules out Lahaul Valley also. You can only fly into Leh.

Howver, you can drive to Spiti Valley all through Tabo, Kaza till Losar from the Shimla side although some temporary disruption thanks to snowfall is inevitable.
