Road condition KOTA-SHIVPURI-JHANSI-REWA-VARANASI
Hello
 This is my first post here and hope to contribute productively in the days to come. I am a firm believer in travelling around by road. This winter I am planning to take my wife and kids along for a driving tour of Rajasthan. My last destination will be Kota (Raj) from where I wish to drive up to Khujraho via Shivpuri-Jhansi. From Khujraho I wish to drive up to Varanasi via Rewa. My main worries are the road condition in MP. A couple of years they were supposed to be in a bad shape. Can some one inform how is the stretch from KOTA-SHIVPURI-JHANSI-REWA-VARANASI? IS it worthwhile to traverse this route? Thanks and appreciations. |

Ive done the Kota/Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore)/Shivpuri/Jhansi/Orchha/Khajuraho stretch and its definitely not a problem if youre driving yourself. However beyond that I wouldnt know. Perhaps if you called a hotel say the Taj Chandela, in Khajuraho, they could let you know.
