Rishikesh in January?
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has spent time in Rishikesh in January. I'm mostly wondering if it is very cold and snowy--and if most hotels have heat? Thanks! |

I've spent a January in Rishikesh, it was dry and cold but not freezing. 3 wool blankets and a pair of longjohns got me by fine.
Most rooms weren't heated and probably still aren't. It's been a while since i was there last.

Nameste, I spent a month there in January. Cold at nite, no snow but nice in the day. Nice enough to go swimming almost daily in the afternoon, but once the sun goes down and the wind kicks up, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Happy trails |
