Request - fm Mumbai to Rajkot to Morbi to Delhi?
Namaste all!
We are going on March 5 from Mumbai to Rajkot. And then from Rajkot to Morbi (Morvi?). Return to Rajkot. From where we intend heading upto Delhi. Expecting to reach Delhi around March 9. We would like to fly when possible/feasible and go on road at remaining. Any advice? Especially on the legs Rajkot-Morbi? Any clean and comfortable place to stay while in Rajkot? How is the hotel Imperial Palace on Dr Yagnik Road? Dhanyavad! |

Rajkot is a fast developing town and Hotel Imperial Palace is the best bet while there. There are other 'not-so-expensive' hotels around if you would like to look. Here's a list:
Hotel Star Palace(located at Trikon Baug - our cricket teams stay here during matches) Hotel Kaveri (authentic Gujarati food served here and clean rooms at budget prices)(located close to the main market) Hotel KK (located at Dhulasia Chowk) And if you are staying just for a day and don't mind roughing it out, you are welcome to stay at my place - the only hitch that it is outside city limits, at an isolated place...so, sometimes, getting conveyance can sometimes be difficult. It is very kind of you to offer your help, since there are three of us this trip we will check into one of those hotels in the city. But now Rajkot already seems friendly and inviting... We hope to travel around a bit, up to Morbi. Any place at Rajkot where we can hire a car + driver? We guess the weather this time will be pleasant and easy on us first-timers-there. Atterra |

Welcome to Rajkot
 Ask at any hotel and they will arrange the car service for you but if you want a private service, it's not a very good idea because oftentimes, they cheat you! And, since you are at a loss when it comes to understanding the local dialect, they actually take you for a ride! But, I'll try and get hold of a few local numbers by tomorrow for you. Trip around Rajkot
Can anyone suggest which all places one can visit around Rajkot....i want to do a 4-5 days trip around Saurashtra/Kutch between December 22-27....
Can someone suggest me with itinery.
