Please advise on the Itinerary : Tamilnadu - Kerala - Tamilnadu

Dear All,

Am planning for a trip of 4 days over the places of Tamilnadu and Kerala. It is Pilgrimage cum Marriage tour with my family (Myself, Father, Mother and Sister). Have drawn a plan for this tour. Kindly check it and pour your valuable suggestions and the credibility (I mean the time duration) of the data.

Above is the complete plan. Kindly confirm whether the time duration which I had mentioned will holds good. Because I have taken the information of travel duration between two places by surfing the Internet. Please note that we are not going in a Cab. We are depending on the Public transport. Only for Nava Thiruppathi (Srivaikuntam - Then Thirupperai), we had a plan to go by Cab. Again that too till Then Tirupperai. From there, it will be by Bus

And some of the Temples which I had sequenced is based on the Temple timings. Again the Temple timings are taken in the Internet.

Dear Narayansawmy,

Your plan is well drafted. However I am sceptical about the time duration. I guess you are cutting it too fine and have cramped lot of places in a single day.

Moreover you mentioned you are going to travel by Public transport. Just to give you an example, if you are taking a bus to Tiruchendur after completing Thenthiruperai it would take about 1 and half hours to reach the temple. I am considering the distance you need to walk from Thenthtiruperai temple up to the main road , wait for the bus and then travel 21 kms. Again walk up to the temple and then have darshan.

What about the time for breakfast and lunch etc. As you are going with your parents, would they be able to cope with so much of travel.

I also feel the time between the Nava tirupathi's is too short, though the temples are all situated within a radius of 10 to 12 kms. All the temples are big, its not that you would just go to the main Sannadhi and leave.

Just think overit once again.

Dear Raghu ... Thanks a lot for your suggestions ... Am getting the same response from most of my friends ... Am planning to take Cab for the first and second day. I can understand that it will be very tough to cover all those places as per my plan with the help of Public transport.
