| Ooty to Coimbatore to Allaphuza; which bus stand in Coimbatore? Taking the bus from Ooty to Coimbatore in order to proceed to Ernakulam or Allaphuza by train, at which bus-stand would the bus drop me off in Coimbatore? There are 7 on my map and I was wonering how far it is to get to the train station. Anybody knows if it`s necessary to make reservations for the train for Allaphuza for a wednesday after 2 pm? |

| Whoops.. I shall then start earlier to catch the 14:10 train to Ernakulam or the later 6pm train. Thanks for your helpful link! Gotta study it longer. I guess, taking an onward bus to Kochi/Allepey is not very convenient? Still..anyone knows where the bus-drop-off would be in Coimbatore(from Ooty)? "TNST Central Depot" near X-Cut Road, "GH Bus Depot", "Town Hall", "Ukkadam" or which one..(still got more!)? |

| coimbatore railway station After reaching coimbatore by bus you will be dropped at the main bus stand(Gandhipuram).From there you can catch an auto to procced to railway station,hardly 4 Kms. |
