Train 727 has First Class (without AC) and SL class only.

capt. in case you witnessed Hampi festival in past, could you please tell what are the main attractions of the festival?

which may not be too bad, except for the fireworks.

which doesnt sound too much like my kind of scene at all. Sounds crowded and noisy and touristy...

Maybe Hampi is better at other times.

Yes, go for it.
First Class will have cabins mostly of 4 berths each. It will also have one or two 2 berths cabins.

First class non-AC is the most pleasant class in trains, except in extreme heat. Since the Railways make more money with AC they converted most of the first class into AC coaches. Only a very few trains still have that original first class.

Madurai-Trivandrum/Varkala/Quilon train now has FC
