NORTHERN INDIA ROUTE RECOMMENDATIONS JUNE 2011 to JULY 2011

Hey guys,
I am an 18 year old female that is currently on a working holiday in Australia. I have to return home to Canada end of July to begin University and would like to break up the flight by having a stopover in India. I will be flying into Delhi early June and flying out mid July. Because my time is so limited and I will be travelling alone, I want to make the most out of my brief trip by planning a basic and direct route that will allow me to stay clear of the heat and see as much of northern India as possible. Any tips on routes, methods of travel, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

The north would still be mostly Hot in June - July. The rains would have hit the South, except Tamilnadu. If you have less time either head to the Hills in the North or TN would be good if temples interest you.

Delhi region will be Hot in Month of June, but you can consider it as Junction Pt.

Hey I don't know if you decided on your Northern Indian itinerary but I just landed in Delhi and am in Indian for the next 3 1/2 weeks so if you could provide insight on where to go I would greatly appreciate it. I'm 22 year old recent graduate from university in the states and actually lived in Brisbane for 6 months. Any help/advice would be awesome!
