New york-Delhi AI flight

Hello All,
I am planning to take Air India flight from New york to Delhi soon. I have never flown Air India (except Domestic). Since it is a 15 hours flight, I would like to get your suggestions on the service, comfort and crew members attitude. If you have flown or have any idea about this particular flight sector, could you please let me know how good/bad it is?

We flew this route back in 2010. Our flight from EWR was cancelled at the last minute and we were shuttled to JFK for this flight. I was quite impressed with how well organized and quick the change was.
Service on board was fine. Food was good and they weren't stingy with the alcohol. Seats are not that comfy and the cabin was kept too warm for my taste. Crew was polite but not overly warm.
A perfectly fine flying experience.

I almost chose that flight, but found another with a layover which I need; anyway I keep hearing really great things about the Jfk-Delhi AI flight. I guess the planes are to be newer and service is really great. Try this site.http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/air_india.htm They have a few reviews from that exact flight. I've flown from New York to Delhi several times with Air India and never had any problem. Food was reasonable, movie selection was good. I don't recall any delays and the cabin crew was pretty cute too.....
