Need itinerary for Goa shirdi shingnapur nasik ajanta ellora and mumbai
Hello Friends
I a residing in Delhi and a central Government employee. I make a plan to visit all the above places on LTC alongwith my wife and my 3 yr. old daughter in the second week of this december. I have 15 days to visit all these places. I already booked my tickets in advance as I was not aware of this site. I booked my train ticket for new delhi to goa on 6th december 2009 via trivandrum rajdhani. I have 5 days to visit Goa. After that I have booked my ticket for shirdi via kopargaon by Goa express on 12th december 2009. Now I have three days to visit shirdi, shingnapur, nasik and ajanta ellora as I again already booked my ticket from Aurangabad to Mumbai for 16th December 2009. My return ticket from Mumbai to Delhi is for 19th December 2009.
Now, is there anybody to suggest me that how could I make my plan to visit all these places as this journey will become memorable for us. And please also suggest how could I make a plan to visit shirdi, shingnapur, Nasik (especially Triumbkeshwar Temple) and Ajanta Ellora. Is it possible to visit these places in three days?
Hoping for an early reply
regards

I did this journey last year (except Triyambkeshwar). If you start from Goa on 12th, you'll reach Kopargaon on 13th. My suggestion will be:
On 13th - Reach Shirdi, take a room get freshened up and visit the Shirdi Temple and other sites by 2 PM. You get shared jeeps for Shani Shingnapur from just outside the Shirdi Temple, you need not find them, they'll find you. Return by night.
On 14th - Take the Early morning bus/Taxi to Aurangabad. You may take train also. We went by 'Lal Dibbas' of Maharstra Roadways. It was a 5 hours journey. On this day you can take a city tour and see Bibi ka Maqbara (mini Taj), Pan Chakki, Aurangabad Caves etc...
On 15th - Take the MTDC ot ITDC tour to Ellora Caves & Daulatabad, Khuldabad etc. Can be booked from MTDC resort, near Railway Station of Aurangabad.
On 16th - Take the Ajanta Tour of ITDC/MTDC and take the train to Mumbai.
If your train to Mumbai on 16th does not permit full day journey to Ajanta, then you should hire a taxi on 15th and see both Ellora & Ajanta on the same day. It'll be hectic but can be done.
Now if you wish to visit Traiyambkeshwar also, you can get down at Nasik Road from your Aurangabad - Mumbai train. After your darshans you can then take a bus to Mumbai. There are plenty of good quality private buses available at Nasik.
