I am planning for a trip from Kolkata to Siliguri by car. Can anyone inform me the present road conditions? Also which route should I follow. I will prefer for day driving.

last year i took a drive from kolkata to cooch behar via siliguri. though i took krishnanagar - berhampur - malda route, it is advisable to take durgapur expressway then panagar moregram expressway and malda to siliguri. heard that malda siliguri road is very bad.
Thanks, how long it takes to reach Malda via Dgp expressway ?
