Need advice - Chennai

Hello,

I will be reaching Chennai in December around 10.30 PM. I need to catch a train next day at 7.15 AM to Bangalore from Chennai Central station.

1. How do I travel from Chennai Airport to Central Station? Any Train service at Airport?
2. Any budget accommodation near Chennai Central Railway Station?

Hi,
You can take a local train from Thirisoolam station which is right opposite the Airport. You can also take call taxi available right outside the airport or take a local bus. Avoid autos as they over charge.
Loads of hotels are available outside central station and readily available most times.
