Can anyone tell me how to reach Namaste India tours by phone? I am trying to email for booking but I'm not sure if they are getting it. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Deezee, I can't PM you because you're new, but I have Jawahar's number. He uses his personal home and mobile numbers which I'm not sure about making public here in case his house is deluged with calls, so if you're still having trouble could you email driver4maddie@yahoo.co.uk and I'll give you his number via email.
Unless someone out there thinks I'm being over-cautious and posts his number anyway! |

It depends: if you know that they use the number for business purposes, then it is fair enough to give it.
If you are not sure of that, then I think you are right not to. A side note: Please note that they have been long-standing members of the site, but, in line with recent tightening up of our rules concerning commercial membership (essentially it is just not allowed) have been asked not to use any id indicating that they are in the travels business. One or more of them may still be members of the site as individuals: it would defeat the object if we let on who they are. If we even knew, of course... Really this is just to explain to those who have been used to seeing them around over the years why they will not be answering the question themselves.

my experience with them is that they get busy and cant respond quickly always but they probably are reading your emails and will respond when they get a chance. They were one of the only agencies that did communicate reliably about our trip, so just keep trying.

To all thread readers looking to get hold of Jawahar:
The driver4maddie email address is a junk account that I opened to help someone and can't figure out how to close. If you email me there, I might not check it for a long time. Please listen to Jenk's post above. People have emailed me looking for Jawahar's number, and when I give it they say they had their email to Namaste answered and didn't need the number in the end anyway. I am not a marketing agent for Namaste India Tours! Whilst I will always help people out when I can, I'd really rather you came and posted here and got to know me rather than using me as an information source and then running away. I feel cheap. ![]() If nothing else, at least I feel I made the right decision not publicising his phone number. The amount of pointless panicky calls he would have! NB out of interest, despite being posted twice on this forum, the spam content of that email address has been nil. Interesting. |
