Hi,
I want to travel from mumbai into manali.
Can anyone recomend a route that i could take?
Are there any ways to get to manali without going through delhi, at least without too much difficulty?

How do you plan to travel - Combination of Rail, Bus, Air, Car ???
From Mumbai you can either fly to Chandigarh & take a Bus from Chandigarh, or you can take a train upto Ambala & take a Bus for Manali from Ambala or Chandigarh(approx 400 kms).

OR the train
Take the Pashchim Express train from Bandra Terminus direct to Chandigarh... then bus it out.

i just arrived in mumbai, its so crazy here.. hehe..
would really love to make it up to manali, but was unsure about how intense it would be in delhi.... i will probably get use to the crazy stuff..
good to hear there is a train to catch where i dont have to change to a bus and weave through crowds of people with my house on my back.

Well, it is crazy out here all over India!!! Now just pick the craziest places and go there!!! I am sure you will enjoy it all whether it is monsoon or not!!! Have a safe journey wherever you go and enjoy your trip. If there is anything you need to know about Mumbai do give a shout out here.
