Mumbai-Goa-Kerala-Dehli-Jaipur-Agra-Mumbai in 5 weeks!

Hello!

In three weeks myself and two also female swedish friends will arrive in Mumbai to visit India for the first time. And god bless this site! Thank you for all questions and answers and thoughts and help I've recieved so far, without even written something myself!

We're planning to leave Mumbai after a day or two and take the train down to Goa. After Goa going further down to Kerala. Later on fly to Dehli and buzz around Dehli, Agra, Jaipur (Golden triangle) and then down to Mumbai to travel home. With some positivity and good will this should be possible, right? Or are we on the wrong track, time-wise i mean? Our budget is I'd say budget.. I think. Around a thousand euro for five weeks?

Just some thoughts or tips or whatever about our plans would be highly appreciated.

Ps. My brother is in India at the moment and will meet up in Mumbai because he got tickets to Iron Maiden, February the first.. In Mumbai!! I think it sounds absoutley awesome. Indian hardrockers??

Five weeks would be more than sufficient for the itinerary you have listed. If its one thousand euro per person with the three of you traveling together your budget would definitely allow for a comfortable means of travel and stay - stay in mid-range hotels and travel in AC three/two tier train compartments.

The itinerary looks well spaced out for 5 weeks.

And Up the Irons! We're expecting at least 10,000 peiople for the Maiden concert in Mumbai - 20,000 went for their first India concert in Bangalore last September.

If you stay around until March,Megadeth and Machine Head are coming to Banglaore...

well there is rsjonline.com and (if it is still up)www.gigpad.com

rsj is a fairly lively site mostly inhabited by teenage heavy metal fans,so the level of interaction is perhaps not the most mature.

I found out about the Megadeth gig from ticketpro.in when I was looking for the Maiden tickets
