Meeting place near Nizamuddin station, Delhi

I'm planning to meet a friend at Nizamuddin railway station. Having never been I wonder if anyone could suggest a suitable meeting place.

He'll be arriving after a domestic flight whiklst I'm staying in Delhi the night before so with delays etc I need somewhere I can comfortably wait for a couple of hours. Somewhere I could sit with a good cup of tea would be ideal. The most important thing, however, is that it is easy to find. The closer to the station the better. We will not have access to phones so have to be 100% sure we can both find it.

Thanks.

Options:

-Platform ticket booking counter, main entrance at the Railway Station.
-Hotel Rajdoot, about a kilometer and a half away (while you spend time with coffee or at the bar ). Old and prominent/well known hotel on the main road.. any taxi driver will know that)

-KhanKhanas tomb, about a kilometer away... small tomb, not busy, at the corner of the main Mathura road and Nizamuddin West. Reasonably quiet, you can take a book and relax. Coffee available within five mintues walk or so, across the Mathura road, small almost roadside places.
-Sundar Nagar market, but fixing a meeting place there will be difficult... there used to be a sweetmeat shop at the corner, maybe a Delhi-ite can confirm its still there.
Little far, though, maybe 10 minute autorickshaw ride from the station.

If the station, there are a few small eateries for coffee etc where you could kill time, not too comfortable, though.

If you have time, you could visit Humayun's tomb too, not far. Not a good meeting place, though, sometimes too crowded.

There is this food plaza - "Comesum" at the H Nizammudin station right next to the parking area. It is open 24x7 and you could easily spend some time there ... and their food ain't bad either.
