Hi All-
I will becoming for my first trip to India for two weeks at the end of Aug/ early Sept (the only time I can get away). I'll be travelling with one other person - we're looking to spend roughly 1,000 - 1,500 USD per person (not including the airfare to India). We will be focused on the North. I need help figuring out (a) how much time to stay in each place(b) how to get from city to city and (c) if there are places that should be added or crossed off from this list. Delhi will be our base -- and I was thinking of going to the following in this order. Delhi Agra Jaipur Udaipur Varsani Kolkata Is it even worth it to attempt to get to Kolkata? Many thanks! Namastae, Mango Red |

if you want to be focused on the north and have only two weeks, i would suggest
delhi 3 days uttaranchal or himachal 6/7 days rajasthan 5/6 days with your budget i would hire a car ex delhi for all travel or fly into rajasthan and hire a car locally there. |
