Kolkota - Tarapith - Varanasi
Hi all,
I will be travelling from Kolkota to Tarapith. Can you suggest the nearest station from Tarapith where I can board a express train to Varanasi. Regards, k |

Rampur hat (RPH) is 6kms from Tarapith, but there's only 1 very slow direct train from Rampur, departing 00:47 and getting to Varanasi at 22:00.
80km north of Rampur is Barharwa Jn, a train departs Barharwa Jn daily at 20:34 and gets to Varanasi at 11:00 (2A, 3A, SL.) Barddhaman is 120km south of Rampur, but there are loads of trains from Barddhaman to Varanasi or Mughal Sarai. Barddhaman-Varanasi/MGS trains. |
