Kolkata-Darjeeling-Kalimpong-Gangtok-Pelling-Kolkata
Kolkata-Darjeeling-Kalimpong-Gangtok-Pelling-Kolkata is the route I planned in West Bengal and Sikkim but please tell what kind of transport to use there. I will be very grateful if you can guide me how to reach each place from the previous one because I need to make future reservations (after that trip) and I should know the timings. Thank you in advance!
My recomend Kolkata -> Kalimpong -> Darjeeling -> Gangtok -> Pelling -> kolkata
Kolkata -> Gangtok -> Pelling -> Darjeeling -> Kalimpong -> Kolkata
The place you have choosen are very well communicated among themselves. You can avail hired or public transport according to your budget. Roads are good so there should not be any problem at all.
If you stay at Kalimpong then then visit Delo park and another places LAVA, Lolegaon and Rishop.

For Darjeeling you'll easily get bus, car or shared jeeps from NJP. Takes 2.5 - 3 hours.But before you visit this area(the West Bengal Part), please check the current political situation since it is quite volatile at times and you'll soon find yourself stranded in the middle due to some strike.
Also if you are a foreign citizen, double check that you are allowed to go to Nathu La.
Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by.
