Kerala-the Golden triangle (Agra,Jaipur,Delhi) + Goa

Hey all, I need advice and handy tip on my impending journey to and in India.

I'm a female, 23 and travelling alone. I will be volunteering in Kerala for a month. After the volunteer work, I would like to travel round India mainly the Agra, Delhi, Jaipur and Goa (september 5-12). I have basically 7 days to visit these places and my budget for visiting these places is a thousand dollars

I would like to know the follwing
1. How feasible is this trip
2. How easy is it to travel round India, alone.
3.Safe and cheap hotel to stay in and what to do in the evening (oviously, I will visit the tourist sites during the day)
4. Travelling within India by air. Is it safe? Cheap?
5. What to look out for.

If possible you may also mail your itinerary requirements to some travel companies like sita travel, wanderlust India, hills n holidays etc. Search on the internet and you would also be able to get free consultation services from some of these.
