kashmir- how many days?

My husband and I will be in india for 3 weeks, satrting eend november. we hope to cover delhi, agra, jaisalmer, kashmir and then end up in chennai. How many days should I allocate to spend in Kashmir? I'd like it tobe the hightlight of my trip anyway and we hope to spend a night or two on a houseboat as well. it will be snowing in december i hope??

About 6 days, minimum, is what I would recommend. 2 days in Srinigar, at least two trips from there (Pahalgam, Gulmarg?).


But that does not leave you too much for the rest of your trip, specially fi you are spending more than a day or two at Chennai.
