jammu to manali
ive planned a trip to Vaishno devi and then to Manali
I need help on the following: (1) How do i proceed Katra to Manali? is there is direct bus from there to manali? how much time it will take to reach there? (2) is there any online booking system to book the bus or any transport mode for the same bye |

HRTC has a direct bus service from Jammu to Manali, via Pathankot, Kangra, Jogindernagar and Mandi. This route is unparalleled for natural beauty. The journey time is approx. 17 hours.

the route is
katra-jammu-pathankot-baijnath-dharmshala-palampur-jogindernagar-madi-kulu then manali i also went to the same route by car for my honeymoon after Mata Vasino Devi the time i took from jammu was almost 12 hours regarding bus i dont have any knowledge hope tht helps |

Kalka to Shimla
Hi,
I m planning to go to Shimla this spring..I would travel from New Delhi by Shatabdi that reaches Kalka at 12:00 Noon..And, Shimla bound Himalyan Queen leaves from Kalka at 12:10 hrs. What are the chances of catching the second train..Is this a connected train to Shatabdi..In case we miss out this train then what are other options to get there?? Pls guide... Thnx in advance.

yes there is direct bus service from katra to manali it will take max 17hr. and rate is Rs 550 per person
