Jammu to Amritsar : How and what to see (on the way)?

Guys,

Help me to find the answers for these questions.

1. What is the best option to travel from Jammu to Amritsar? Any trains? Any luxury coach service?
2. How long is the journey? Is it good to do a night or day journey?
3. On the way, are there any interesting places where one could break the journey for a day and then continue?
4. In Amritsar, are there any 'daily tour' operators to visit Atari/Wagah, Golden Temple and Jalianwala Bagh? (and anything else that could be seen in a day)
5. How far is Airport located from the city center (at Amritsar)

Its just around 200 km. The road is good. Five hours max.
Day journey is better.
Delux buses available all day long.

You could plan a trip to the Kangra valley.
