Itinerary help from Hampi to Cochin - best stopovers?

My Itinerary seems to go to pot after Hampi and I really need help here.

Before Hampi I would have been in India one month and I should have been to Wayanad >Coonor > Kodaikanal > done a Backwater overnight > Munnar >Madurai > been on the east coast ….various places> Bangalore > Hampi.

After Hampi I need to make my way back to Cochin and I have exactly 7 days to do this in.

So has anyone got any suggestions where they would stopover/visit when travelling from Hampi making their way back to Cochin in 7 days?

Any nice national parks to stay overnight in / beaches / interesting hotels??……..please help

I believe it's from Hassan in Karnataka where I took a bus towards Thalasseri. Will lead you through the Western Ghats. Beautiful area. Get out at will somewhere down the line & explore to your heart's content. I wish I had
