How about Manali or Mcleodganj and around?

Use the search box at the top to search for some of the numerous trip reports available in this forum.

Hi sir I've fancied Himachal for long time. Is mid November-December a good time to visit Himachal?

Please don't sir me.

Yes Novermber - December is a good time to visit Himachal Pradesh. If you opt for Manali you would not be able to go to Rohtang Pass. However you can reach Solang Valley, Gulaba.

Uttarakhand is divided in to two divisons - Garhwal and Kumaon. If you do opt for Uttarakhand stick to one division only.

The main railway station for Garhwal would be Dehradun / Haridwar and airport at Dehradun.

The main railway station for Kumaon is Haldwani / Kathgodam and airport at Pantnagar. Haldwani is the major transport hub in Kumaon.
