India in August-September
I'm traveling to India with a friend for the first time. Unfortunately, the only time we can go is for a month from mid-August to mid-September. So far we have nothing planned, other than knowing the dates. Since everyone here seems so knowledgeable I figured I"d ask for some expert advice. What itinerary is recommended for that time frame, so that we'll avoid the heaviest part of the monsoon season? Should we stick to the south? To the north? Travel from south to north?
What are must-sees that shouldn't be missed? Thanks so much for any and all help!!! |
