Im back to tread the boards at last !!!!!!
Im coming back after my last trip in 2005 -6
I really need to know if my time schedules are realistic and i know that i will get the truth on this site ???? I will be flying in to Delhi on 15th feb 2010 and leaving from Delhi again on 8th Mar 2010 and need to know if i can fit in a camel trek in Jaisalmer and also a week on the beach in Goa ? I plan to do all my travelling by train 2nd class sleeper if possible because last time this was such a great way to travel ! You get to seee the real India this way i thought It would be nice not to rush the trip and i was planning to allocate at least 5 -6 days for train travel alone ! I do not wish to stay anywhere in between unless there is time to do it as i saw everywhere from Delhi to Kanuyakumari on my last 4 month trip in 2006 and missed out my camel trek because my then partner did not want to do it This time i will be travelling alone Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated because as i know from numerous posts i have already read you may think you know it all from your last visit but India is a country that i will never fully understand and never fully be able to navigate with ease because lets be serious here its not as if im just popping down to London for a short weekend break !!!! ![]()

21 days for a Rajasthan camel trek and a week in goa. I would say it is doable quite easily, even with all train travel.
Maybe even add a 4 day trip to Hampi (unless you visited on your last trip)

And yes, from previous posts that I have read over time,Israelis DO have a poor reputation in India for their Boorish Behaviour. However in saying this I am sure there are a few Decent ones around who respect the local culture & customs. vandy ![]() |
