How to get to Agra from Mumbai

We'll go to Agra from Mumbai, guess we must travel through Delhi. Please recommend the fastest and safe way to go Delhi and after to Agra.

The fastest way is obviously if you take a plane, for instance with http://www.spicejet.com/
Around Rs 2000 one way Mumbai-Delhi (today).

From Delhi fastest and safest would be to hire a car from the Airport to Agra. Other IM-threads are giving info on this.

If you prefer going by train you could actually go directly to Agra. Check on http://www.indianrail.gov.in/, taking Agra Cant as your destination.
Good trains take between 22-24 hours.

For the fastest train, take the Rajdhani Train Nr 2951. It is not going thru Agra, though. the Rajdhani leaves Mumbai 16:40 and arrives at Delhi 8:30. Cost is similar to a flight.

Yes, it's highly advisable to book tickets before-hand.

You could do the online booking from Indian railways website
www.irctc.co.in
