Honeymoon trip schedule - need suggestions in preparing itinerary...
Hi All,
Here i have a schedule for our honeymoon trip to Manali and simla during the month of August/September. Since its our honeymoon trip, we want the trip to be bit relaxed  . If you guys can comment on this about the routes and places i am covering, it would be of great help.Our parent wants us to book our honeymoon trip with Indian tourism, is it worth or is it safe to plan our self? I'm not sure I understand your first day.
Are you Flying from Chennai to Delhi to Simla and then taking a bus directly to Manali from Simla or from Delhi to Manali by bus? Since you only have a week, why not just spend a few days in each place? |

First of all thanks camelgirl for the reply...
I am planning to fly from Chennai to Delhi, then from Delhi to Simla through Volvo bus... I hope we have bus services from Delhi to Simla??? Our parent wants us to book our honeymoon trip with Indian tourism, how far it is good? |

with the discussion with IM member i have come up with a rough schedule... may be this will help you Day 01: Chennai - Delhi - Simla Chennai to Delhi Flight Arrive in the evening Volvo Bus at Delhi to Simla Day 02: Simla Morning arrive at Simla, check in to hotel. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Overnight at hotel. Day 03: Simla - Kufri/Mashobra Valley/Chail - Simla Visiting Kufri, Mashobra valley, Chail Overnight at hotel. Day 04: Simla - Manali After breakfast, By Cab to Manali Time taken from Simla to Manali??? Any places to Visit on the way??? Arrive at Manali, check in to hotel. If time provided city tour visiting * Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village (3Kms) and Tibetan Monastery. Overnight at hotel. Day 05: Manali - Manikaran(85kms) - Kasol - Manali * Naggar (Naggar castle and few temples) * Manikaran (Optional Visit) (Famous for Hot Spring) * Any other place??? Overnight at hotel Day 04: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Sollang Valley Full day visiting * Kothi, (12Kms) * Sollang Valley.(13KMs) * Rahala Falls (16Kms) * Palchan(Whispering Rocks), * Rohtang Pass (51Kms) and Overnight at hotel Day 05: Manali Complete day rest and if possible a local site seeing in and around the place of stay in a relaxed pace, probably by walk. Day 06: Manali Complete day rest and if possible a local site seeing in and around the place of stay in a relaxed pace, probably by walk. You might also want to spend a day in Kulu...very close to Manali.
