Talking Honeymoon Trek in India. Where to go?

Hey all,
This is my first post, but I have been reading them for a while now. So I am getting married in Barcelona and then flying to Mumbai on June 18th. We will be leaving via Delhi on July 10th. So far we have came up with quite few cities to go to, but maybe someone could give us some advice. Such as "this is to many places with the amount of time you have", or "Don't go there, it is ...." or "Why not check this ??? instead of ???". Here is the list of places that we want to go with no real order or logic.
Of course Mumbai and Delhi.
Agra - a day trip.
Varanasi-
Ajante or Elorna- Open to recommendation on these if you have been there.
Khajuraho-
Jaipur-
Udaipur-
Chandigarh-
Bundi-
Jaisaimer-
Thanks for any help and recommendation. I can not wait to go, and then hopefully go back again to see the southern part.

hi! You have picked up lovely places. I have some advices for you.

1. If your wife has not been to India, then take it slowly and visit places that are 'easier' or less hectic. I would avoid Varanasi. Though Agra is equally hectic but who can miss the TAJ MAHAL? Khajuraho for honeymoon - could be exciting.

Also, Bundi and Chandigarh are not really that great a place to spend time - only if u are passing by.

2. Also, pick places that are 'cozy'.

For the month of July (monsoon period) - I would definitely recommend Ladakh. One/ two week in Ladakh where you can find a 'summer like Europe' kind of weather. Then fly down to Delhi and visit Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur.

For Ajanta & Elora, you may end up spending a lot of time travelling to & from - therefore take flights if you can afford it.

Good Luck and Congratulations!
