Honeymoon in July 07

Hi Guys,

Well July appears to be an extremely tough time to plan a honeymoon...
It is monsoon everywhere and i am all confused about the destination.

I initially narrowed down to Kerala, which is a fascinating place, found a great package too....however it would be raining cats and dogs there during that time.

Next i thought Shimla/Sikkim and i have gone through quite a few articles in this site to get some more info on these destinations. Again the conclusion is that these places might not be a good one to visit during July because of the monsoon.

Well my priorities for the trip are:
1. Nice picturesque destinations
2. Comfortable Acco (preferably 3* or better)
3. Should have some activities that can be planned.

So probably i am stuck to J&K now, but i was not able to find reliable info on acco there. Dont know how the weather is going to be too!!

Anyways, should anyone of you have any info on any destinations that i can choose from, it would be great. A little more info(specifically reviews/experiences etc ) about the destinations along the points i have described above will be much appreciated too!!

Also if any of you have visited Kerala during monsoon...do let me know your experiences.

These guys are reliable, know good places, and based in BLR, near Cunningham Rd. if memory serves. They did good for me and my finicky, new to India wife. , as well as for other friends.

me, I still sometimes just go down to the Asst. Stn master's office, turn on the charm and ask for a birth an hour b4 the train goes
