If you have plan for excurssion from Narkanda then book a taxi from 2nd day at Narkanda. Do not book it through hotel. That will be costly. You can get an Indica at Rs.1400/- to 1600/- per day if you book directly either through contacts or after reaching Shimla. Opt for HPTDC hotel at Narkanda.

There are 2 options for Shoja. Either go to Aut by Public transport and tell the hotel to pick you up from there. Or drive through Jalori pass in taxi to Shoja.

No need for Taxi at Shoja. Book a taxi through hotel to drop you at Nagar. Stay in Nagar Cassle and cover the sights on foot which are nearby. Taxi is not required here. Go to Manali by local transport which is just 25 Kms from Nagar.

You will not need taxi at Manali except for going to Rohtang and Solang (Can be covered in single day if you start early). Opt for local autos for sightseeing places like Hidimba, Manu Maharaj etc. There are a lot of hotel options available here. Choose according to your budget.

Taxies can be availed everywhere on point to point basis also.
