Nainital seems to fit your criteria.

I'd also second Delhiwala's suggestion for Nainital.
And, welcome to IndiaMike. |

Choose Smarter, this would be the Foundation for your entire Married Life
With respect, choosing Nainital for a romantic honeymoon is almost like spending your honeymoon in Dhaka or Kolkata, with somewhat better views, due to its easy accessibility and popularity with folks from the cities n towns of the plains, UP n Delhi, etc.
If you want romance to blossom n your mate to be at her happiest, try the smaller, less popular hill stations on the upper reaches of the Himalayas. These include, in order of my preference, Ranikhet, Kausani n Binsar in Kumaon, Uttarakhand, which have quaint little, gorgeously located resorts and out worldly views, air n environs. You’ll find similar gems in Himachal Pradesh, which albeit are slightly more crowded than their counterparts in Uttarakhand, in part due to the prosperity of neighboring state of Punjab. Sikkim is another option, but not Darjeeling, due to the regular political agitations and bandh/strikes there. Cheers n best wishes for a lifelong romance with your soul mate. Sunjay |

OK, That's OverStating The Reality
OK, That's OverStating The Reality of the relatively crowded pop hill stations, sorry
that said, go for the best experiences from those avlbl, so avoid the crowds, at least during your first few weeks of marriage, it's gonna be all crowded up later anyways |

I'd say Nainital fits the bill.
There is also Naukuchiya tal but with very limited options for cuisine. If food be a highlight too, stick to Nainital! November & December are not busy periods barring the Christmas-New Year week. |

I'd say Kasauli, Mussoorrie, Nainital are all run of the mills.
Try this and you will thank me ![]() http://www.tarikasjungleretreat.com/ Try the Honeymoon Cottage or even better - TRY THE PARADISE.
