| help with travel plans Hi everyone, I'm planning my first trip to India, and have found this to be a great resource. I'd like some advice on the last leg of my trip. I'm traveling with a friend (few days in Agra/Delhi, flying south to Kerala for a few days, then up to Mumbai for a few days). Then I have about 8 days on my own, and I'm trying to decide if I should fly out of Mumbai, or travel back to Delhi. I want to visit Ajanta//Ellora, but if I fly out of Mumbai, I'm not sure where else to go -- Matheran? Or should I travel north and visit Jodhpur, and then make my way to Delhi? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! |

| just got back from india! Hi! I was a solo woman traveler to India and just got back and absolutely loved my trip. I went to Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, and Rishikesh(staying at yoga ashram) this summer. It's completely my original plan, and for my safety and to save my time ( I wanted to go to many places with limited amount of time) I asked a local travel agency to arrange everything beforehand. I'll recommend this tour operator. http://www.tourindia.info/ If you want to make your trip unique and unforgettable, they can customize and design your travel program according to your wishes with reasonable price. They also provide pick-up service from the airport and hotel/transportation arrangement. Usually, Indian agency's feedback is very slow, but their response is very quick and kind, and if you are in any trouble during the trip, they are willing to help you resolve the issues. Heart-to-heart service with warm hospitality and friendship they extended to me was something that touched my mind too. If you wanna go to many places within a limited amount of time, I'll recommend you to use local tour operator to save your time and for your safety! |
