Help required - Itinerary to Himachal Pradesh for 7 days
Hi All,
We are 3 couples planning for 1 week vacation in Himachal Pradesh in the first week of july. Here is the itenary i have planned earlier.
Day 1 - Reach early morning in Delhi from hyderabad, some sight seeing in Delhi and start to Kalka in the night.
Day 2 - Reach Kalka in the early morning, from there to take a toy train to Simla. Sight seeing in Simla and Night stay at Simla
Day 3 - Sight seeing around Simla and night stay there.
Day 4 - Travel to manali. Reach manali in the evening and night stay at manali
Day 5 - sight seeing in and around manali
Day 6 - sight seeing in and around manali
Day 7 - sight seeing in manali and take bus to Delhi in the evening.
However, after reading some forums, I am now thinking to Drop simla and instead include McLeodgunj and Dharamsala.
I found following itenary in Indiamike which covers these places.

Please suggest which one is better.

To my opinion ,shimla is better than dharamshala. Your are planning to travel in july . study weather conditions before you finalise the tour. Rain causes landslide in hills.
