help Mumbai to Gujarat to Delhi
I'm leaving the comfort my Indian friends in the suburbs of Navi Mumbai on Saturday. This is what I would like to do.
Mumbai to Gujarat- Haisahmer Jodhour -- Udaipur--Pushkar---Jalpur--Agra---Delhi
Does this route make sense? Or should I reroute it?
How long is it to Gujarat by train? (I apologize if I am in the wrong section) Is there a night train?

ps. first time in India, been in Asia for over three years...swf
I haven't taken any trains yet in India (out of the city) and I want to leave Mumbai to travel up to Rajasthan (Gujarat first).
I am confused by the train stations in Mumbai. Which one do I go to get a train out of Mumbai? Also how far in advance do I need to purchase a ticket?
I am really trying to go through all the posts in this forum. I apologise if these questions are answered already.

Where do you want to go to in Gujarat?

Mumbai Central and Bandra are the 2 main stations in Mumbai for trains to Gujarat, there are many overnight trains, lots timed to get to different parts of Gujarat at good times in the morning.
