help!!kathmandu-darjeeling-varanasi rajastan goa kerala

Ciao, we will be in kathmandu on the 10th of january. Then to darjeeling, then varanasi. train from varanasi to agra any suggestion?? is it so dangerous ( we are two female from italy)
then rajastan ( jaipur,udajpur,jodhpur, jaisalmer, bikaner) goa e kerala ( backwater???)
please send us some information suggestion, things to do, where to sleep.
we will be traveling with train and buses but we were thinking about a car with driver for the tour in rajastan any informations??rates and agencyes?? we have a medium budget we will be on the road for 40 days

I used Beckon Tours for a trip through Rajasthan and their service was excellent and very reasonable. In Kathmandu the valley is so small that it is easy to do with just pickup taxis or tuk tuks. its easy to walk around the major sights in the city itself and with a car you actually would miss a lot of the local color. In Kathmandu I currently stay at the Kathmandu Guest House for its location. But the Tibet Guest House is also a good choice. And if you really would like a colorful stay try the Dragon Guest House or Rabsel Guest House in Bouda, the home of the great Stupa, Tibetan refugees and over 25 monastaries. Its just 6 km from downtown Kathmandu.
