Guidance on Mysore/Ooty/Coonoor/Wellington itinerary

I am planning a trip to Mysore/Ooty/Coonoor/Wellington in mid-August. After doing some research, i have made the below itinerary. Need advise whether it is the right flow of locations...i mean, directionally...i donot want to land up covering the trip wasting unnecessary time on roads. I like leisure trips..so, have not included much sight-seeing stuff- hopefully, what i have included is doable. Request you to pls check the plan and advice me if i can improve my itinerary.

17th Aug:

Start from Bangalore to Mysore at 7.30 am by Cab (I plan to have full trip of Bangalore/Mysore/Ooty/Coonoor/Welligton & back to Bangalore by Cab). If stop needed for breakfast, have at MTR/Kamat Upachar hotel.
Take deviation from Malavalli- go inside and see Shivasamudra Falls (Time taken from Bangalore to Shivasamudra Falls- 2.5 hours)
Return back on the highway, and proceed to Mysore (Shivasamudra Falls to Mysore- 1.5 hours). Visit Mysore Palace, Chanmundeshwari hills. Then proceed for Brindavan gardens…see musical fountain show and move on to Ooty (Brindavan to Ooty- 1.5 hrs)

18th Aug:
Post breakfast, start the day with Ooty lake and do some boating. Post the lake visit, catch the 11am prayer at St.Stephen’s Church. After visiting the Church, visit Botanical Garden (timings: 7am to 6.30pm). Post the Garden visit, move on to Kalhatty Water Falls (13kms from Ooty). After seeing the Kalhatty waterfalls, move for Pykara Lake & falls (Pls advice good place for lunch at Ooty….and also let me know, whether route wise, this is the right route plan…as I donot know the directions of Kalhatty waterfalls & Pykhara lake…are they in same direction or different sides?)

19th Aug:
Post breakfast, catch toy train from Ooty to Coonoor (19kms distance)- starting at 9.15am & reaching Coonoor at 10.25am. At Coonoor, visit some tea gardens-take walks (Pls suggest any good tea estate which may be visited). Go to Dolphin Nose (10 kms from Coonoor) and see Catherine falls…On the way back, look around Wellington…just take walks in the small town…see Army Cantonment….gymkhana…all from outside…just have the feel of the place. (Pls suggest place to have lunch in Coonoor/Wellington)

20th Aug:
Post breakfast, leave from Ooty for Bangalore around 10 am.

brindavan to ooty is not 1.5 hours and it is 5 hours by road and if travelled in a shorter route by cab in which buses do not travel it takes 3 hours.

can you do the whole mysore trip in one day. it takes 2 hours to see the mysore palace superficially , unless you plan to travel at night.

in ooty if botanical gardens is planned in the last , one can complete the trip in one day. prepaid taxies near the busstand are adviced

oh! i am surprised to know that Brindavan Gardens to Ooty would take atleast 3 hours...someone had guided me that it would be 1.5hrs. In such circumstances, i might drop Brindavan gardens and move straight to OOty- as cannot get so late in reaching Ooty. Unfortunately, i have already made by hotel bookings at Ooty- so, cannot change to 1st day stay at Mysore.
For Ooty sight-seeing, i would change the route as advised by you- and would cover Botanical Garden in the end.
